CHARLOTTE, NC (From news reports) - A two-alarm fire at a recycling center in southwest Charlotte is under investigation.

Charlotte Fire says they were called just after 4 p.m. on Monday, July 7, to Sonoco Recycling on Revolution Park Drive near Clanton Road.

When emergency officials arrived on scene, they saw heavy smoke and flames at the business. Fire officials say at 4:27 p.m. a second alarm was quickly issued.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 50 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

Officials are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
