Print
Mosinee, Wisconsin, USA, 26 February 2008 --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wausau Paper (NYSE:WPP) announces the opening of an East Coast Printing and Writing distribution center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, which was selected for its proximity to key commercial printing markets and the company's network of merchant distribution partners. Transitional operations begin on 03 March. Once fully operational, the company's overnight and same-day delivery service will be available to a growing number of Wausau Paper's East Coast customers.

"Establishing this distribution center, which will house our entire portfolio of stock brands and grades, emphasizes our commitment to the commercial printing industry, our merchant distribution partners, and retail customers located in the eastern third of the United States. This facility will also allow us to further enhance the high level of service we currently provide East Coast customers through our 'Think Service' program," said Daniel R. Trettin, senior vice president - Printing & Writing.

For more than 100 years, Wausau Paper has been a leading manufacturer of high-quality, affordable, uncoated papers for consumers, printers, graphic designers, and converters.
