Stora Enso to Close Packaging Unit in Chennai, India
Staff Helsinki, Finland 22 June 2015 -- Stora Enso plans to permanently shut down the Group's corrugated packaging converting unit in Chennai, India, due to unprofitability and a major decrease in local market demand. Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wood and paper on global markets. Our aim is to replace non-renewable materials by innovating and developing new products and services based on wood and other renewable materials.
