Solenis to Acquire the Assets of Nuplex


Wilmington, Delaware, USA 21 April 2016 -- Effective April 22, 2016 Solenis Australia Pty Limited signed an agreement to acquire substantially all of the business assets of Nuplex Pulp & Paper from Nuplex Industries Limited. Solenis will acquire the technical, commercial, production assets and personnel of the Nuplex Pulp & Paper business in Australia and New Zealand. Nuplex Pulp & Paper is currently the exclusive distributor and technology licensee of Solenis pulp and paper products within Australia and New Zealand. The parties expect to complete the acquisition during the second quarter of 2016.

This acquisition enables Solenis to streamline its production and commercial organizations in Australia and New Zealand and improve local customer service.
