PCA and Boise Announce Early Termination

Lake Forest, Illinois and Boise, Idaho, USA 01 October 2013 -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Packaging Corporation of America (NYSE: PKG) and Boise, Inc. (NYSE: BZ) today announced that the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 in connection with the previously announced acquisition of Boise by PCA.

The transaction remains subject to other customary closing conditions.
