Pöyry to Engineer Holmen Paper's TMP Plant Upgrade in Sweden

Vantaa, Finland, 01 February 2007 -- Pöyry's Forest Industry business group has received an order for the engineering of Holmen Paper AB´s TMP B-line upgrade project at Braviken paper mill in Norrköping, Sweden. The value of the contract is about EUR 2 million.

Pöyry's assignment includes the complete detail engineering for a new refiner line, including new chip pretreatment, extended screening capacity, and increased reject refining capacity for the TMP line. The aim of the upgrade is to raise quality and reduce energy consumption. The new line is scheduled to start up in June 2008.

The assignment is a continuation to the long-lasting cooperation with Holmen Paper and further strengthens Pöyry´s position as the leading engineering service provider for the Swedish pulp and paper industry.
