Pöyry Awarded EUR 54 Million Services Agreement for Tres Lagoas Pulp Mill in Brazil

Vantaa, Finland, 12 February 2007 -- Pursuant to the stock exchange notice issued on 21 December 2006, Pöyry's Forest Industry business group has signed a services agreement regarding the implementation of a greenfield bleached kraft pulp mill of Votorantim Celulose e Papel SA (VCP) - MS Celulose Sul Mato-Grossense Ltda in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil.

The former Chamflora - Três Lagoas Agroflorestal Ltda became part of VCP through an asset swap with International Paper on 01 February 2007. The mill is expected to start up in the beginning of 2009. The value of the agreement is approximately EUR 54 million and it is the largest services agreement ever in Pöyry's history.

Pöyry is a global consulting and engineering firm focusing on the
energy, forest industry, and infrastructure and environment sectors.
Pöyry's net sales in 2006 amounted to about EUR 620 million and it
employs 6400 experts.
