Italy's Rocca Paper Mill have been on and off Strikes


Lucca, Italy 08 August 2016 -- Tissue paper production at Italy's Rocca Paper Mill has recently been on and off due to strikes. This is the seventh eight hour strike since April.

The Rocca Paper Mill of Italian tissue products manufacturer Roto-Cart is currently hit by several strikes. A Slc Cgil union spokesman said that employees took several strike actions since April, downing tools for eight hours each time. During this time, production was completely down, he added.

Roto-Cart produces tissue paper with a capacity of 24,000 tpy at the Rpcca Paper Mill near Lucca. The site has 29 employees. The company rund another plant in Piombino where the paper is converted to tissue products.
