St. Petersburg, Russia 23 May 2013 -- Over the first 3 months of 2013 Ilim Group’s mills in Siberia and in the Northwest of Russia manufactured more than 633,000 tons of pulp and paper products, having sustained its performance year over year.

The figures include about 397,000 tons of market pulp. As compared to the first quarter of the previous year, production output remained flat.

Market containerboard production has gained 4%, reaching 179,000 tons.

Paper production has amounted to 58,000 tons, going down by 2% as compared to the output in January - March of the previous year.

OAO Ilim Gofra, corrugated box business of Ilim Group in the Leningrad Oblast, manufactured 32 million sq. m. of products, thus exceeding the production output for the first three months of 2012 by 9%.
