Holmen Paper Madrid Interrupted by Strike
Print

Stockholm, Sweden, 26 April 2011 -- Beginning the morning of 26 April, a strike at Holmen Paper Madrid forced the mill to shut down production and stop deliveries to customers.

The strike was prompted by the announced closure of PM 61, which will affect approximately 170 employees. Production on the machine stopped in late March.

The strike was expected to continue through the weekend.
