Vienna, Austria 24 November 2015 -- The SC paper machine PM 10 at Laakirchen Papier is scheduled to re-start on 16 December 2015 following downtime for repairs to fix the damage caused by a fire on 24 September, announced Heinzel Group, the parent company of the Austrian magazine paper producer.

This start-up comes earlier than expected for production on the machine with a capacity of 260,000 tpy of SC paper. The repaired machine will soon to be able to produce marketable paper, the group expects. A company spokesman said that orders for PM 10 were already being taken. No changes in the product portfolio are planned. The machine will continue to produce mainly SC paper with a high virgin-fibre content and higher whiteness.
