Spremberg, Germany 27 March 2015 -- Hamburger Containerboard, part of Austrian Prinzhorn Holding group, announced that it would build a new 450,000 tpy paper machine for recycled containerboard.

The company said that the machine was to be commissioned in 2017 and would be designed for producing brown and white testliner. Three potential sites for the machine are currently evaluated, including the company's Spremberg plant in eastern Germany. The new PM will have a working width of 7.50 m, total capex of the project is estimated at €300m.
