GLV’s Pulp and Paper Group Obtains Several Large-Scale Contracts

Montreal, Quebec, Canada, 20 September 2007 — GLV Inc. (LVG.A and LVG.B) announces that its Pulp and Paper Group has been awarded several large-scale contracts totalling close to CAD 19 million on international markets, in addition to numerous smaller contracts, since the official start of GLV’s operations on 10 August 2007,.

Through its new technology center in Karlstad, Sweden, the Pulp and Paper Group won a contract worth more than CAD 7 million to design, manufacture, and deliver two Compact Press wash press systems by the fall of 2008, and to provide installation, start-up, and employee training services. This contract is part of a project to upgrade Portucel’s pulp mill located in Setúbal, Portugal, to reduce its chemical consumption and improve pulp quality.

The Pulp and Paper Group has also been awarded a contract to rebuild and modernize, at a cost of almost CAD 3 million, some of the existing equipment of a pulp and paper producer in the United States. This work will be completed in September 2008. In addition, by January 2008, the group will deliver various new equipment to a Chinese producer, including a BTFTM automatic dilution system for headboxes. The other contracts involve the delivery of pulp screening and cleaning systems for mills located in China, India, Russia, and Sweden.
