In this issue of Disconnected Comparisons, we evaluate Aracruz Celulose SA (ARA) and Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK). The attached graph indexes these companies’ stock values and the PM40 to their 04 January 2002 values. A USD 100 investment in ARA on that date would have been worth USD 83.28 on 26 June 2009; a USD 100 investment in GPK on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 33.60 on 26 June 2009; and a USD 100 investment in the PM40 on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 90.51 on 26 June 2009.
