Orange, Texas, USA 23 April 2015 -- A contractor at the International Paper mill in Orange, Texas was injured on Wednesday, 22 April 2015 following an accident.

According to a statement from International Paper to Paperitalo Publications on Thursday, "At approximately 8:45 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday) morning, an employee of Southern Environmental, a mill contractor, was involved in an electrical incident in the Orange Mill. He was treated at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas and released today."

International Paper said that an internal incident investigation is under way.

"The safety of our team members and contractors is a core value and the top priority at our mill. We continue to focus on making sure all of our team members are working safely," IP said in the release.
