Comment Print

Graz, Austria 17 August 2016 -- International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Metsä Tissue GmbH, Germany to supply a FibreFlow drum FFD pulper for its tissue paper machine PM 5 in Kreuzau, Germany.

The latest-generation drum pulper from ANDRITZ ensures gentle waste paper slushing, high fiber yield, and reliable operation. The scope of supply also includes erection supervision and training as well as start-up and commissioning, which are scheduled for March 2017.

The new drum pulper for the PM5 deinking line will process mixed office waste as well as sorted colored ledger for the manufacture of high-quality tissue products and provide sufficient flexibility for the use of other waste paper types with a higher degree of contamination. This drum pulper has sufficient capacity to additionally process the waste paper raw material of tissue machine PM 4.

ANDRITZ's 40 years of experience in drum pulping with more than 200 FibreFlow drum installations worldwide were decisive for Metsä Tissue to place the order with ANDRITZ.

Metsä Tissue GmbH is one of the market leaders in Germany for the production of high-end sanitary products.
